1. Who we are
Kaplift is an online career-preparation service. It is run by the company named at the bottom of this page, with its address and trade register (RCCM) number. In these terms, "Kaplift", "we" and "us" mean that company. "You" means the person who uses Kaplift.
By creating an account or paying for a plan, you accept these terms. They work together with the Privacy notice and, if you recommend Kaplift, the Referral programme terms.
2. What Kaplift does
Kaplift helps you understand where you stand and prepare for your next step: a better job, a promotion, a change of career, training, a scholarship, a business, or work or study abroad. The service includes:
- the readiness assessment: a free questionnaire that gives you a score and the legal pathways that match your answers;
- the AI analysis of your documents: you upload your CV, diplomas, certificates or LinkedIn profile, and our AI reads them, builds your profile, and explains your strengths, your level, your gaps and what to focus on;
- generated files: a learning plan, an action plan, CVs in the format of your target country, a LinkedIn profile, letter templates and a recognition roadmap for your diplomas, which you can edit and download;
- opportunities: jobs, scholarships, concours, trainings and programmes from our verified Opportunity Atlas, matched to your profile, with what you still need to become eligible;
- the AI career agent (Pro plan): a chat assistant that searches opportunities, suggests updates to your profile, rewrites your files, drafts letters and helps you practise interviews.
There are no human advisers. Every analysis and file is produced by software, using the AI model of our provider Anthropic.
3. What Kaplift never does
- We do not sell or guarantee a job, a visa, an admission, a scholarship or a placement. We sell preparation and tools. The decision always belongs to the employer, the school or the authority.
- We are not a recruitment agency, a travel agency or an immigration consultant.
- We never apply, pay or send anything on your behalf.
- We do not verify diplomas. Kaplift reads what your documents say. It never states that a diploma is authentic or recognised. For recognition abroad, we point you to the official bodies.
- We never ask for your mobile money PIN, your card details by message, or your national ID or passport number.
4. Your account
- Kaplift is available in 14 countries: Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Benin, Burkina Faso, Congo, Gabon and South Africa.
- You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code. Keep your phone and your codes to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
- One person, one account. The information you give must be true and must be about you.
- You can close your account at any time with "Erase my data" in Settings › Privacy.
5. Plans and prices
The assessment and a first preview of up to 3 documents are free. Paid plans run for 30 days:

Prices are in your local currency, with nothing added. The price shown at checkout is the one you pay. A price change never affects months you have already paid.
6. Paying and renewing
- Ways to pay: mobile money, card or bank transfer, depending on your country. Payments go through our payment providers (MooniePay in Cameroon, Fincra in the other countries).
- No stored cards, no automatic debit. We never keep your card details or debit your account by ourselves. Every month is a new payment that you approve.
- Manual renewal. We remind you before and after your plan ends, by app notification, WhatsApp or SMS. Each reminder has a "Renew" link. If you don't renew, your plan simply stops.
- Grace days. After your plan ends, you keep full access for 3 days. Grace days are not paid days.
- Paying ahead. You can pay 1, 3, 6 or 12 months at once, at 0 %, 5 %, 10 % or 15 % off, up to 400 days ahead. A new payment always starts at the end of the time you have already paid, so paying early never loses days.
- Upgrading. An upgrade starts at once and keeps your end date. You pay only the difference for the days left: (new monthly price − old monthly price) ÷ 30 × days left, rounded up, with a small minimum shown before you pay.
- Downgrading. A lower plan starts at your next renewal. You keep your current plan until then.
- After your plan ends. Your files stay viewable. A new analysis, regenerations and new downloads need an active plan.
7. Refunds
Your access starts as soon as the payment is confirmed. A purchase is final once access has started. We refund in these cases:
- 7-day cooling-off on your first purchase: you can ask for a full refund within 7 days of your first paid plan, for any reason;
- failed payment: money left your account but the payment failed or your plan did not start;
- duplicate payment: you paid twice for the same thing by mistake (ask within 7 days; otherwise the extra payment is added to your plan as extra time);
- unauthorised charge: a payment made without the account holder’s consent;
- service not delivered: we could not give you the access you paid for within 72 hours.
To ask for a refund, write to [email protected] with your phone number and the payment reference. We refund to the account the money came from, within 30 days. A refund ends the access it paid for.
8. Fair use and AI allowances
Each plan includes a monthly allowance:
- Analyses after you update your profile: Basic 2, Plus 4, Pro 10 a month.
- File regenerations: Basic 5, Plus 15, Pro unlimited within fair use.
- CV tailored for an opportunity: Plus 5, Pro 30 a month.
- AI usage: every plan also has a monthly AI budget that covers the agent and the other AI features.
The app shows what you have left. When you reach a limit, you can wait for your next month or move to a higher plan. Fair use means normal personal use. Automated use, reselling, sharing an account or using Kaplift to produce files for other people is not allowed.
9. Your content
- You own what you upload (documents, photos, text) and the files Kaplift generates for you.
- You give Kaplift a limited licence to store, read, copy and transform your content only to provide the service to you: reading your documents, building your profile, writing your files and matching opportunities. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups, which are deleted within 35 days.
- We never use your content to advertise Kaplift and we never sell it.
- Upload only documents that are yours. Don’t upload ID cards, passports or other people’s documents.
10. Limits of AI output
- Our AI can make mistakes. It can misread a document, miss a detail or word something badly.
- Check every file before you use it. You are responsible for what you send to an employer, a school or an authority.
- When a number or a date is missing, the file says "[to confirm]" instead of inventing it. Fill these in yourself.
- Scores, matches and "you appear eligible" are estimates based on published criteria and on what you told us. They are not a decision.
- Opportunity details can change. Always check the official link before applying. Items the Pro agent finds for you are marked "found for you, not yet verified".
- If something is wrong, tell us through Help in the app. We review every report.
11. The referral programme
You can recommend Kaplift with your own link. While your paid plan is active, you earn a share of what the people you recommend pay, on up to 3 levels. There is nothing to buy to join, and no income is guaranteed. The full rules are in the Referral programme terms.
12. Suspension and closing
We may suspend or close an account, after telling you why when we can, if it is used for fraud, fake accounts, payment abuse, misleading promotion, uploading other people’s documents, or any use that breaks these terms or the law. If we close an account without fault on your side, we refund the unused paid days.
13. Liability
- Kaplift provides preparation and tools. We are not responsible for decisions by employers, schools, embassies or other third parties, or for offers published by third parties.
- We are not responsible for interruptions caused by mobile networks, payment providers or events outside our control. We work to restore the service quickly.
- Our total liability to you is limited to the amounts you paid Kaplift in the 3 months before the event. This limit does not apply to fraud, gross negligence or anything the law does not allow us to limit.
- Nothing in these terms removes the rights that consumer law in your country gives you.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. The version and date are shown with each document. For important changes, we tell you in the app at least 15 days before they apply. If you don’t accept a change, you can stop renewing, and we refund any full months you paid ahead.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Cameroon, within the OHADA framework of uniform business law. If there is a dispute, write to us first: we answer within 30 days and try to settle it amicably. If that fails, the dispute goes to the competent courts of the place of Kaplift’s registered office.
