1. Getting started
- Open Kaplift and choose your country and your language.
- Enter your phone number. You receive a one-time code by WhatsApp or SMS. Type it in.
- That’s it: your account is ready. Kaplift works in your browser and can be installed on your phone’s home screen.
Kaplift will never ask for your PIN, your card details by message, or your ID or passport number.
2. The free assessment
- Answer short questions about your education, your experience, your languages and your goal. It takes about 6 minutes.
- You get a readiness score and the legal pathways that fit you: at home, abroad or remote.
- The score is a guide based on your answers. It is not a decision by an employer or an authority.
- You can retake the assessment at any time.
3. Adding your documents
Add your CV, diplomas, transcripts, certificates and your LinkedIn profile. You can upload PDF, Word (DOCX), JPG, PNG or iPhone (HEIC) files, or paste text.
For good photos:
- one page per photo, flat, on a dark table;
- daylight, no flash, no shadow on the text;
- the whole page in the frame, all four corners visible;
- sharp text: hold still and tap the screen to focus.
Other tips:
- A PDF is always better than a photo when you have one.
- For LinkedIn, use "Save to PDF" on your profile, or paste the text of your profile. Pasting keeps the French accents better.
- Up to 20 pages per upload.
- Don’t add your ID card or passport. Kaplift doesn’t need them.
Before your first upload, the app asks for your consents (AI analysis, keeping your documents, opportunities, sharing). You can change them later in Settings › Privacy.
4. Confirming your profile
After reading your documents, Kaplift shows "Here is what we understood": cards for your education, jobs, skills, languages and goals.
- Check each card. Correct what is wrong and add what is missing.
- Each item shows where it came from in your documents.
- If two documents disagree (for example different dates), Kaplift shows both. Choose the right one.
- If something was hard to read, you are asked to retake the photo or type it.
- Nothing is analysed until you confirm.
The free plan shows this preview for up to 3 documents, with your readiness score and your top 3 gaps.
5. Your analysis and your files
With a paid plan, Kaplift analyses your confirmed profile:
- who you are in 5 lines, your strengths with evidence, your level per skill area;
- the jobs that fit you and your chances at home, abroad or remote;
- what to focus on first, a learning plan with courses (free options first) and a 90-day action plan.
Then you get your files: CVs in the right format for your target country, your LinkedIn profile, letter templates, your action checklist and a roadmap to have your diplomas recognised.
- Edit them in the app. The editor checks length limits and missing numbers.
- "[to confirm]" marks a number or date we didn’t have. Fill it in yourself.
- Download them as Word (DOCX), PDF or Markdown.
- When your situation changes (a new course, a new job), update your profile and regenerate your files.
- Read every file before you send it. The AI can make mistakes.
6. Opportunities
Kaplift matches you with verified opportunities: schools, scholarships, trainings, jobs programmes, concours, fellowships, grants, events and more. Each one shows its requirements and whether you meet them:
- Appears eligible: you meet all the published requirements.
- Almost: 1 or 2 requirements are missing and you can close them in about 6 months.
- Long term: more is missing, or it takes longer.
For each missing requirement, Kaplift shows what you have, what is needed, how to get there, and an estimated time and cost. Tap "Make it my goal" to add these steps to your action plan. Kaplift tracks your progress as you meet each requirement.
Basic shows your top 3 matches. Plus and Pro show the full list, deadline alerts and the tracker (saved → applied → interview → result). Always check the official link before applying.
7. Paying and renewing
Choose your plan and how many months you want to pay. Then follow the steps for your payment method.
Mobile money
- Enter your mobile money number.
- Check the operator Kaplift detects, or choose it.
- In Cameroon and Ghana, Kaplift shows the name registered on the number. Check that it is right.
- A request appears on your phone. Enter your PIN on your phone to approve. If no request appears, the app shows the code to dial.
- Stay on the page: your plan starts as soon as the operator confirms.
Mobile money by country:
- Cameroon: MTN MoMo, Orange Money.
- Ghana: MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AT Money.
- Kenya: M-Pesa, Airtel Money.

Card, bank transfer and Wave You are sent to the payment provider’s secure page. Pay there, then come back to Kaplift. This is how payment works in Nigeria (bank transfer or card) and South Africa (card or EFT), for cards in Zambia, and for Wave.
If the payment seems stuck Don’t pay a second time. Kaplift keeps checking the payment for 24 hours. If the request expires before you approve it, simply start again.
Renewing Nothing is debited automatically. We remind you before your plan ends, with a "Renew" link. After the end date you keep full access for 3 days. Paying early never loses days: the new month starts when the current one ends.
Changing plan An upgrade starts at once: you pay only the difference for the days left. A downgrade starts at your next renewal.
8. Recommending and getting paid
- Share your personal link from the app. It is free for everyone.
- While your own paid plan is active, you earn a share of what the people you recommend pay: 36 % on level 1, 15 % on level 2, 9 % on level 3.
- Add your payout account (mobile money or bank) in the app. Commissions are paid automatically after the fraud checks.
- Never promise a job, a visa or income to anyone. No income is guaranteed.
All the rules are in the Referral programme terms.
9. Spotting fake job offers
In February 2026, NAPTIP and the British High Commission warned that real employers:
- do not recruit through social media;
- do not ask for fees upfront;
- do not ask you to travel on a tourist visa to work.
Other warning signs:
- contact only by WhatsApp or Telegram;
- pay that is too good to be true;
- a recruiter who can’t show a licence, or who uses the name of a real company or embassy without an official address;
- pressure to decide or pay quickly.
The UK care-worker visa closed to overseas applicants on 22 July 2025. Any offer for it is false.
Kaplift sells preparation, never a job or a visa. Every offer abroad in Kaplift carries a safety notice. In Nigeria, report trafficking to NAPTIP on 627.
10. Help
- Use Help in the app, or write to [email protected].
- For a payment, give your phone number and the payment reference.
- To download or erase your data, go to Settings › Privacy.
